Kormotech's €60 Million Expansion in Lithuania: Doubling Workforce and Adding Production Lines by 2028 Ukrainian pet food manufacturer Kormotech plans a €60 million investment to expand its facilities in Lithuania.

This expansion includes four production phases set for completion between 2025 and 2028. Kormotech, known for brands like Optimeal, CLUB 4 PAWS, Woof!, and Meow!, inaugurated its first foreign facility in Kėdainiai, Lithuania, in 2020. This plant, currently employing over 170 Ukrainian and Lithuanian specialists, specializes in producing over 20,000 tons of wet food annually.

The expansion is expected to double Kormotech's Lithuanian workforce, creating 200 new jobs within five years. The first of the new production lines is scheduled to launch by 2025, with additional lines becoming operational annually until 2028. Kormotech's CEO and co-owner Rostislav Vovk credits the company's growth in Lithuania to its successful local operations, favorable economic conditions, support from Invest Lithuania, and a robust network of partners and suppliers.

With facilities in both Ukraine and the EU, Kormotech has been a prominent player in the pet food industry since 2003. Vovk also emphasized Lithuania's importance as the company's second 'home market.
